I, Frankenstein has two source documents. One is a seminal novel of English fiction (http://goo.gl/1ckdBF) that I have read and the other is a modern graphic novel (http://goo.gl/oEdS7W) that I have not read. I suspect that if Mary Shelley rose from the dead and broke the bounds of her grave and saw it, she would crawl back, cover her self up, take a couple Vicodin, and try to go back to sleep. Now that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the movie. It is a perfectly adequate popcorn movie. And while it may have been a wonderful graphic novel, I cannot help but think, "Why"?
